December 2023 will mark the 125th anniversary of the opening of the well-known J.E. Dodd organ of Wesley Church, since enlarged to its current status as one of Adelaide’s finest concert organs.

To commence this celebratory year, we are pleased to feature internationally-renowned British / New Zealand organist Martin Setchell, a frequent visitor to Adelaide, who last presented a recital at Kent Town in 2015 Martin’s exciting, varied and approachable programme will largely include 19th and 20th century works well-suited to this instrument.

He has been honoured by the City of Christchurch, receiving a Civic Award for services to music in the community and the Town Hall organ in particular in 2009, and a commendation for 25 years of service as city organist in 2022.
