Wesley Uniting Church, Kent Town is the largest Uniting Church building in South Australia with a seating capacity of 1200. It has a heritage grandeur that takes the breath away. Built in the middle of the 19th century. The Wesley Congregation enjoys weekly worship every Sunday at 10 am, in the Protestant Reformed tradition with a rich choral emphasis.
Our resident choir along with various visiting choirs contributes an excellence of music for both hymn singing and liturgical celebration. Many families choose Wesley Uniting Church for baptisms and enjoy attending special celebrations with Prince Alfred College, Pembroke College and Annesley College at various times during the year. Wesley Uniting church is also a favored place for weddings and this webpage will provide helpful information should you want to make a booking.
Monday to Friday Wesley Uniting Church is a busy gathering place with several Choirs, a Musical Theatre Group, Quilting Group and community groups.
The Norwood Preaching Centre in the tradition of the Chinese Methodist Church also worships weekly at 2 pm.
Services are bi-lingual.
They also have an active Youth Group which meets on Friday evenings and a Prayer group meets Tuesdays.
